Wonderboys

Killed off Wonderboys by Michael Chabon today. I highly recommend it. In writing style, it reminded me of Great Gatsby - particularly the descriptions. There are parts in this book that had me laughing out loud. I'll have to check out the movie now to see how it compares.

I also recently read these...
The Unbearable Lightness of Being: A Novel, Milan Kundera
The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho
Old School, Tobias Wolff

All three were very good. Particularly, The Alchemist is a great read on personal philosphy, and so simply written that you can get through it quickly and absorb it easily.

Updated finish list...
Wonderboys, Michael Chabon
Old School, Tobias Wolff
The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho
The Unbearable Lightness of Being: A Novel, Milan Kundera
Fall River Dreams, Bill Reynolds
Slaughterhouse-Five, Kurt Vonnegut
High Fidelity, Nick Hornby
Big Sur, Jack Kerouac
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Ken Kesey
The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald
American Miler: The Life and Times of Glenn Cunningham, Paul J. Kiell
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain
A Drinking Life, Peter Hamill
On the Road, Jack Kerouac
